Data we collect

We collect the information needed to create and deliver your personalized song.

• Name and email address.
• Recipient, relationship, occasion, story, memories, song preferences, lyrics instructions, and other order details you provide.
• Payment status and payment identifiers from Stripe, not full card details.
• Basic technical logs such as IP address, browser/device data, timestamps, and consent records.

Purposes and legal basis

We process order data to create the song, handle payment, send transactional emails, provide support, protect the service, and keep required accounting/legal records.

The main legal basis is contract performance. Consent or explicit acknowledgement is used for privacy/AI/sensitive-data confirmations collected in the order form.

AI and service providers

Melohug may use trusted providers including OpenAI, Claude/Anthropic or Laravel Cloud if configured, Stripe, Resend, hosting, and security/infrastructure services.

Submitted story/details may be processed by AI providers only to create and deliver the ordered song. We do not use order data for marketing unless you separately opt in.

Retention

Full prompt/story data is intended to be kept only while needed for delivery and support. Delivered order creative data should be deleted or anonymized after about 30 days unless retention is legally required.

Payment, invoice, tax, accounting, dispute, and security records may be kept for the period required by law.

Your rights

EU/EEA customers may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent where applicable. You may also complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate.
